The mystery of the missing photos

The Redmap website has gone national with today's launch of Redmap Australia! If you've logged a marine species on Redmap Tasmania over the last three years but can't see it on the new site: don’t worry and read on.

Left: Redmap member Tom, with his prized Striped Marlin catch off Tasmania's east coast. This is one of the sightings missing in action (but soon to be restored!) on the new Redmap Australia website.

Since 2009, Tasmanian fishers and divers have logged hundreds of sightings on the Redmap Tasmania website of fish and marine species they considered unusual along their stretch of the Tassie coast. If you can't see your old sighting on the shiny new website, we promise we still have all your pictures and data.  We've just had a few ‘challenges’ importing all our old data onto the new flash system. We’re hoping to have the Tasmanian Redmap data fully imported by the start of next year!
