'In Hot Water' Seminar, Busselton

South west fishers, divers and ocean enthusiasts are invited to a free seminar in Busselton to learn more about the WA 'marine heatwave' and how they can be involved in Redmap. Read more here.

If you are in the Busselton area come along and learn more from the researchers themselves about the incredible changes to the WA marine environment and how you can help them to understand our changing ocean.

Research scientists from the Department of Fisheries and the University of Western Australia will provide information about oceanographic conditions associated with the WA marine heatwave, changes in fish distributions; implications for fisheries; and opportunities for community involvement in monitoring these changes through Redmap.
