On Monday evening, July 22 an event was held to launch Redmap QLD at the beautiful Museum of Tropical Queensland in Townsville. The event had food, drinks and freebies, as well as fascinating talks from Adrenalin Dive, About Fishing NQ, and Redmap Australia.  It was a lovely evening which sparked local media interest in Redmap and the beginnings of collaboration with other scientific and community marine organizations, as well as kicking off Redmap in Queensland!
